Day 7, Friday – Exploring Hamburg! Pt. 4
(There are too many pictures in my post for this day, so I had to split it into several posts.)
After the tour of the University, we had a seminar with Andreas Bonnet, Gerd, and some of the buddies. We learned about the German school system and had some discussion about it afterwards as we asked questions. I won’t get into detail now, but this was a great conversation, and I look forward to our future seminars!
After our seminar, we went out with some of the German buddies, and we had either currywurst or pizza. I had currywurst, pommes, and a Fritz kola, which is a German soda with more caffeine than our sodas have. We also bought beer are were able to drink it on the street as we walked. We felt so rebellious.
We went to a few bars in Hamburg and had a great time! We went into the Reeperbahn to walk around (don’t worry Mom, we didn’t stay there long), and I included some pictures below of some stuff from the Reeperbahn area.
